1. Minimum Requirements

To register as a tutor of TuitionPlanet.com, you must reside in Malaysia . You must also be 18 years or older possessing at least a SPM qualification certificate.

2. Matching Process

Matching will be done by a Tuition Agent of TuitionPlanet.com. Once matching is done, parent/student and tutor will be informed accordingly.

3. Registration

Registration is free. Tutors must complete the registration form honestly and accurately and be able to produce the necessary documents to verify academic qualifications upon request. In the event of inaccurate or false information provided by the tutor, TuitionPlanet.com reserves the legal rights as well as the right to bar the tutor from future applications.

4. Responsibilities

Both tutors and students are to be committed to each other for at least ONE month once the tuition assignment commences. However, it is understood that tuition is a long-term commitment; hence it would be expected of the tutor to be committed until the end of the student's next semester examination period. Both parties should be regular and punctual for lessons. Any changes in lesson dates and times should be informed earlier. All such changes should be made at the discretion of both the parent/student and the tutor.

5. Payments

TuitionPlanet.com charges a commission of 80% from the first four weeks of tuition fee. The first payment (upon completion of four weeks of full classes) must be credited into TuitionPlanet.com bank account by the parent/student. Account number will be provided by our Tuition Agent. The remaining 20% of the first payment will later be banked into the tutor's bank account. Thereafter, TuitionPlanet.com will have no obligations to either the parent/student or tutor.

It should be noted that should any parent/student or tutor terminate each others services before one month without a valid reason, TuitionPlanet.com reserves the rights to impose a RM10 administration fee, to be paid by the parent/student or tutor.

6. Disclaimer

Although TuitionPlanet.com screens all tutor records, TuitionPlanet.com and the partners, investors and employees of TuitionPlanet.com, will not be responsible for any conflict or disagreement that may arises between parent/student and tutor.

7. Modification

TuitionPlanet.com may modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, at any time and at our sole discretion, by posting a change notice or a new agreement on our site. Modifications may include, for example, fee schedules, payment procedures, and rules. If any modification is unacceptable to you, you may terminate this agreement. Your continued participation in our database following our posting of a change notice or new agreement on our site will constitute binding acceptance of the change.

8. Relationship of Parties

Nothing in this Agreement will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties. You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.

9. Limitation of Liability

TuitionPlanet.com, its owners and employees, will not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to indirect, special, or consequential damages, arising in connection with the use of this website.
